BRENTWOOD IS ABOUT BEING FAIR

The Brentwood Fairtrade Group is committed to promoting Fairtrade in Brentwood, and raising awareness of how people can help give a fair deal to producers in poor countries.  To achieve this, we work with local businesses and communities and the local council to maintain Brentwood's status as a Fairtrade Town.

FAIRTRADE FORTNIGHT 2017

Brentwood Fairtrade are calling on the local community to put Fairtrade in their break and support Fairtrade to drive much-needed change for farmers in developing countries during Fairtrade Fortnight.

Having the perfect cuppa or a snack is an important part of our daily routine, yet millions of farmers who produce the treats we enjoy during our breaks are struggling to make a living. However hard they work to provide the products we depend on, they still aren’t paid what they deserve.

Find out how Caryl and her team of volunteers got Brentwood certified as a fairtrade town, what makes a fairtrade school and why we should all care about where our food, clothes and even footballs come from.
